The key objectives of the Council are: To elevate academic, professional and individual development of students by engaging them in various activities relating to business, sports, and customs of our society. To enhance the impression of Nepal College of Management by featuring its contribution to the world of business and to the overall development of our country. To enrich the students with the skills of effective leadership and efficient management that eventually leads to the birth of “real” managers in the days to come. To enable the students to carry out independent enquiry in business, management and their underlying disciplines, within the broader social and economic context in which business operates. Since its establishment, NCM Students’ Council has performed various activities. At NCM, you get innovative program content and teaching methodologies combined with state-of-the-art research and learning resources to equip you for tomorrow’s economy. The Students’ Council and its several clubs motivate most of you to get involved in various extra-curricular activities – from health camps to blood donations, from sports to publications and, many more. In today’s immensely competitive world, it is imperative that you possess leadership, organizing and management skills if you want to stand out from the crowd. Life within the premises of the college is important. However, you should also look out to establishing social and communal skills, as they are extremely important in the world of business and management. The NCM Students’ Council tries its level best to prepare the students in their endeavors to create social connections so that they can succeed in this increasingly globalize world and make a name for themselves, and ultimately lead to the development of Nepal. Finally Students’ Council would like to thank the college management, faculty members and all the students who have helped in publishing this issue of this newsletter.
