Internal Evaluation System
For the purpose of internal evaluation of students, the college has made the internal evaluation system effective from July 2011. The criteria of evaluation are as:

Students must appear and clear both mid-term and send-up examinations to qualify for the
University Board examination. Failure to obtain pass mark in these both test will nullify the marks obtained from attendance, behavior, and assignments and the students will be graded as not qualified (NQ) for the University Board Examination.
1. Mid-term test
Mid-term test will carry full marks of 75 with 40 as pass marks. Respective subject teachers will check the answer papers within a week and award marks accordingly. The obtained marks in the mid-term exam will be scaled to 20 marks for internal evaluation.
2. End-term test
End-term test will have full marks of 75 with 50% pass marks. Respective subject teachers will check the answer papers within seven days and award marks accordingly. The obtained marks in the end-term exam will be scales to 35 marks for internal evaluation.
3. Assignments/Projects/Presentation
These includes evaluation of all kinds of assignments, projects, field visit report/s, case studies, quizzes and presentations assigned by the respective subject teacher.
4. Attendance:
The allocated 15 marks for attendance will be given according to the percentage of attendance in the classes of respective subjects as indicated in the following table:

Irrespective of the presence percentage of the student, no marks will be awarded in case of any uninformed or unapproved absence.

5. Behavior
Marks allocated for behavior will be determined by the respective subject teacher, semester coordinator and management of the college.

Class Attendance Rules
- Student will be allowed to remain absent from class for any personal reason.
- Respective subject teacher will take student’s attendance. He/she has the right to mark students absent if they enter classroom late.
- Only absences due to health problems will be considered with approved leave provided students submit convincing evidence of being illness during absence. (Evidence: hospital’s prescription and/or request letter properly signed by the guardians/parents with contact no.)
- However, the number of such sick leaves will be limited to 5 class days only.
- Director or Coordinator of the respective programs has the right to reject leave application if he/she is not convinced with the evidence submitted.
- The leave application should be submitted to the coordinator on the first day of the student’s presence in the class.
- All absences which are uninformed or rejected by the Director or Coordinator shall be considered as ABSENT.
