Management capacity and professional culture are two core competencies on the strength of which an organisation survives and thrives in today’s competitive environment. This is all the more important in business where the standards of management capacity and professional culture are expected to be always high. We at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) firmly believe that achieving highest standards of these core competencies is the basic mission of management in a business organisation, as in any other organisation. Developing managers who are able to do it is our commitment.

It gives me immense satisfaction to note that our affiliated colleges share this commitment. They are partnering with us for developing future managers who are capable of managing organisations with highest performance standards whilegiving a professional character to their culture. The three affiliated colleges are doing a good job by laying a strong foundation among undergraduate students and preparing them for higher management education with right ability and attitude as well as adequate exposure and expectation.

This is a great help. As KUSOM is now preparing to ‘move forward’ to take management education in the country to a new height, positioning it at the core of human capital formation process in the country, an even greater role and contribution from its affiliated colleges will be necessary.

Nepal College of Management (NCM) has positioned itself as a valuable partner of the KUSOM family network by making steady progress over time in terms of academic performance and institutional development. With its strong focus on both academic excellence and character building process, I am sure that NCM will continue to be a worthy ally helping KUSOM family in being AHEAD IN MANAGEMENT.
